Debating circular animal husbandry

For the University of Utrecht’s Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and in a collaboration with the Nederlands Debatinstituut, we devised and produced a public debate on the Dutch government’s plans to move towards circular agriculture. Not everyone agrees with the goals and the means proposed earlier in a government white paper. The debate, the third in a small series on the future of animal husbandry, should make clear how such policies would affect animals, farmers, consumers and others in this major Dutch export sector.

The project included strategy setting, working with stakeholders inside and outside the faculty (including the Dutch agricultural ministry), advising speakers and the debate moderator, managing content and logistics, media relations, and internal and external communication.
