Preparing for sudden media crises

While part of the Brussels office of Dutch consultancy Schuttelaar & partners, we helped the Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication (SWIFT) prepare for unforeseen media crises.

We drafted media response procedures and media information packages. We designed and carried out media crisis simulation exercises, provided general and media training to high- and lower level employees and actively monitored news media coverage.

Some media training sessions were carried out in an actual tv studio so as to make sure the exercises mimicked reality as closely as possible.

Much of the work remains confidential to this day because of the sensitive nature of the client’s global operations.
