Working towards safer Colombian pork

We helped the University of Copenhagen (KU) phrase a first-stage and second-stage proposal for the funding of a comprehensive research and international development project in Colombia.

In the project, which was later awarded five million DKK by the Danish International Development Agency (DANIDA), stakeholders from Colombia and Denmark will work together to better enable the Colombian pig meat industry meet international veterinary sanitation standards.

That in turn will allow many small-scale Colombian farmers to find a global market for their pork products and ni so doing raise their standard of living.
